The ATAC dual-arch retention system (where foot retention is independent of spring tension) offers five degrees of angular float and 6mm of lateral float, ensuring smooth engagement and release. The low spring tension and new round retention bars take much less effort to engage and release which makes them a hit for riders with problem knees. The composite body profile is oversized and offers a wide, stable pedalling platform with no pressure points under foot. With the wide angle of cleat engagement and the large open arch mechanism, these pedals are pretty much self-cleaning.”
