Pre-owned: Vintage 1960s Carradice cotton saddlebag

This bag is approximately 50-60 years old – as indicated by the label showing it was made at the old Carradice factory, North Street, Nelson.

With a vintage patina this lovely saddlebag is a practical size for day rides or commuting.

Particularly suited to an Eroica or restored vintage bike the bag is also well suited to a modern bike.

Best used with a Bagman saddlebag support to prevent the bag from swinging around.

In overall fair condition but showing its age with surface rust on the rivets and buckles, and some faded areas on the fabric.

Has been washed but needs with Carradice proofing wax before using.

Internal size of the main compartment 35 x 15 x 20 cm. Approximately 10L capacity in the main section, with two side pockets.
