From Homelessness to Success for Jak

Jak one of our Volunteers receiving an Award for his Volunteering efforts.   Jak was Homeless living in a hostel - not any more !  he has a full time job... Working in housing helping others to move onto better things.  Jak still Volunteers with us at Ceracycloan and also rides with us but has also set up a cycling group within hostels as he knows first hand how valuable cycling can be.  Jak also advocates how valuable understanding restorative Practice has helped him understand himself and others in a different way - well done Jak.

From Homelessness to Success for Tom

Tom's story below is amazing two prestigious national awards in one day at Cycling UK's Annual Conference 2016

Tom was joint winner of Cycling UK’s Volunteer of the Year, along with 19-year-old duo Charles Stevens and Will Hsu, who cycled 10,000km from Beijing to Tehran in 114 days this summer to raise more than £30,000 for a children’s charity.Tom, Charles and Will, who received Cycling UK’s Arthur Moss Medallion, were also all voted the national cycling charity’s Young Achievers of the Year.
