Pre-owned: Vintage 1960s Carradice cotton duck front pannier set

Description

This pair of panniers was made approximately 50-60 years ago by Carradice at their old North Street factory in Nelson.

Designed to hang over a rack above the front forks, the panniers could also be used over a rear rack for carrying small amounts of luggage, a coat, or lunch.

With a vintage patina this lovely pair of panniers is a practical size for day rides or commuting.

Particularly suited to an Eroica or restored vintage bike the bag is also well suited to a modern bike.

Each pannier measures approximately 20cm  wide, 20cm high, 12cm deep.
